Services set for Justin Ellsworth, 20

Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Mount Hope Church in Lansing, Mich., for Lance Cpl. Justin M. Ellsworth, formerly of Park County, who was killed in the line of duty in Iraq on Nov. 13.

He was 20.

Ellsworth last lived in Wixom, Mich., and was formerly of Mount Pleasant, Mich., and Fairplay. He attended Summit High School in 2001 and 2002 and played on the football team and participated in wrestling.

Justin was the son of John and Debbie Ellsworth of Wixom, Mich., and Tracy and Jim Ross of Fairplay.

He was the brother of Jareth, Nicholas, Travis, Jessica, Alex and Austin and grandson of Dale and Sue Ellsworth of Eaton Rapids, Mich., Linda Thurston of Lansing, Mich., Herman and Ellen Robere of Garden, Mich., and Dan and Vicki Coughlin of Mt. Pleasant, Mich.

The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday at Mount Hope Church, 202 S. Creyts Road, Lansing, Mich. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Lansing, Mich.

Arrangements are by the Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, Walled Lake. For information, call (248) 624-2251.

Memorials can be made to the Lance Cpl. Justin M. Ellsworth memorial fund set up at Summit County branches of Wells Fargo Bank in Dillon, Frisco and Breckenridge.

Justin's mother plans to have a memorial service in Colorado sometime in early December.
